Cabo de Rama Fort 

Praca Do Cabo De Rama Fort is one of the best forts in Goa. Also, it is one of the Portuguese forts in Goa; this fort is standing near the Canacona coast. This fort was an of a Portuguese monarch; later, it was turned into Government Prison when they left India. Ponda Fort 

Ponda fort is one of the famous heritage forts in Goa and is located near Ponda near the West Coast. This fort has been renovated and reconstructed as the lower wall of this fort collapsed in 2017. Way back, it was constructed using Mud and Stones, but now it is concrete and plastered. Also, it has a garden inside. This fort was under the Government of India’s control after 1961, and later in 1977, it was renovated as a Park. One must visit this fort as it is one of the heritage forts in Goa. 

Alorna Fort 

Alorna Fort is another historic fort that is situated in North Goa. It is a well known historical fort in Goa built by Bhonsle of Sawantwadi. However, this fort is abandoned and is not open to tourists. This village is also known for the Mahadev temple as it is known to be around 1000 years old! One can try visiting this beautiful historical and heritage place in Goa!
